"A couple of years ago, supporters of global warming theory began referring to skeptics as “deniers” — implying that anyone who doubted climate change should be lumped with Holocaust deniers.
Now the shoe is on the other foot, thanks to the eye-popping e-mail dump that hit the Internet recently and quickly became known as “Climategate.” The response of much of the global-warming “community” has been … denial"

I think what pisses off many conservatives about global warming is not the science, but the politics. Like it or not we will face issues in our world that will require us to act in concert.

It would be stupid and foolish to deny global warming simply because it is "inconvenient". The email scandal proves very little. I am neither a denier, a skeptic nor a member of the global warming community, but I have to admit there has been a mountain of legitimate research that supports global warming and the serious consequences that may follow. Have you given any thought to the fact that you may be wrong and if you are it will be your children and grandchildren that pay the price?

It's not clear that Copenhagen will provide any solutions or that the world is even capable of cooperating on a global scale. I don't know the science well enough to judge the what, why and how of global warming, but I do know the weather is distinctly warmer that just a generation ago, the polar ice cap is shrinking as a glaciers around the world. We get to choose our own opinions, but we all have to deal with the same facts.

I hope it is a hoax, but I'm not willing to bet the house on it.
