Dear NAACP:

You did nothing to support the R-Braves.

You have done nothing to promote business development in America, and specifically in the Richmond area.

Other than lining the pockets of your leadership with one racial extortion scheme after another, you have done NOTHING to improve the lot of the "African-American" community.

The days of a race-based group like the NAACP claiming to be the voice of our African-American citizens is OVER. Nobody elected or anointed you as our voice. Your voice is only for that dwindling race-based group that you have become.

If the baseball team owners decided to call the team, the Richmond Rebels, I would support it, if it meant such a move would help restore our economy and give more local citizens jobs.

NAACP, you are not helping; you never have. Just take your racism, shut-up and join your fellow members for a meeting in the nearest phone booth.

What? Now I can't say the word "hambone" because it may offend? Are you kidding me? Uhhh....have they ever heard of Virginia Ham? Do these people have any common sense - I am starting to think that the NAACP is pretty self absorbed to think that everything little thing has racial undertones....Oh wait...that is what keeps them in business and money in their pockets...silly me.
(Granted, I thought that Hambones was a pretty stupid name for a baseball team, but I find it absurb that the NAACP would try to play the race card due to "hambones".)

Funny, those baffons would not even support the Richmond Jangles after Mr. Bojangles who has a monument honoring him in the city. If naming a team the "Bo's" or the "Jangles" was offensive along the lines of "Hambones".....than why are they not asking for the monument honoring him be removed that has his name on it? Ummm. Hyprocrites.
This is the reason why the team should move to either Henrico or Chesterfield in the future when the City fails to build a stadium and of course they will fail to do so. It is an example of just how outdated and entrenched City politics really is.
