Democrat blogger revels in plant closure and job losses in the City of Franklin, VA

Posted by MAXIMUS

Certain Democrats in the blogosphere have no shame, no respect, and no qualms about exploiting the hardships of others to win perceived support. In this case, the Democratic Blogger is named "Teacher Ken."

What did he say that was so off the mark, so blazingly over the top? So craven?

"If Deeds also gains some favorable news coverage for the action of visiting the International Paper mill in Franklin that is shutting down.....there is the possibility of generating some momentum." link here: http://www.bluecommonwealth.com/diary/1450/farmville-herald-endorses-deeds

Pathetic.

This year's Oktoberfest is again at the SHOWPLACE!
Saturday, from 6:00 PM until midnight.
Showplace Exhibition Center,
3000 Mechanicsville Turnpike
Richmond, VA 23223

Take I 64 or I 295 to Route 360, then follow 360 to the Showplace. Admission $10 and you will likely spend another $20-$30 on beer tickets.

First, get the name write - it is teacherken - all one word, no caps

Second, learn to read. No where did I revel in the loss of the jobs. I pointed out the difference, that Deeds responded to the hardship that will be faced by the community, and McDonnell ignored it. If that gives Deeds an opportunity, it is because he is responding to the real needs of the people, rather than imposing an ideology regardless of its impact upon people.

Teacher Ken:

It is pathetic that you have chosen to focus on this as a contrast, absolutely without merit and no basis in the political discourse. You're not even from the area or the region, much less Deeds. I have family that work there so back off from the political rhetoric or are you that desperate for a "game changer" for Deeds? Both McDonnell and Deeds issued appropriate statements on the closing, period. You stand ignorant in your assertion that McDonnell ignored it. Are you so sloppy you don't even do your research? Yes, apparently you are, to wit McDonnell's statement and Deed's statement: http://fwix.com/share/43_02cf55847d

You do revel in the closing because YOU, not me, YOU said it presents an opportunity for political momentum--clearly implying that you want Deeds to benefit from his reaction to the closure! You own those words. Were it not for the closure, you would not be asserting this an opportunity for Deeds' to catch some momentum! While Deeds has NOT been talking about issues such as job creation and getting the economy back on track, McDonnell has. Think not? Just listen to the people of Virginia on election day.

you still can't read

which you demonstrate by getting my name wrong. You did that about as accurately as you read my comment.

Enjoy your delusion.

Teacher Ken:

I'm flattered. I equally trust you'll enjoy election day.

hey teacherken,

I think you may have meant for ccMaximus to get it "right" and not "write" as you wrote. Normally, I am not that nit-picky, but I wanted to be helpful by applying the same anal-retentive standard to your words that you applied to ccMaximus'.

no, I wrote what I meant - it was an inaccurate writing of my blog name which is clearly one word with no caps

bye now no longer subscribing

teacherken,

If you cannot see the grammatical error in your writing, then I am only left thanking God that you do not teach my children.
