Schools becoming Indoctrination Centers?

By know you all have seen or heard of the school video where the kids at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington Township, N.J. were instructed to recite the following poem from a visiting author (Charisse Carney-Nunes, author of the children’s book “I Am Barack Obama” ) and one time classmate of the President…this is simply over the line and breaches the ability to teach our children critical thinking skills they will need to survive in the real world; A world that requires one to disseminate between being manipulated and led astray or believing what you are being told as something real and worthy of trust. The dangerous thing with indoctrination is also the potential violent backlash that can occur when the person realizes that they have been made to follow a person that will disappoint them (and all people disappoint since we’re all flawed) over one thing or another and especially unrealistic expectations. Putting your complete trust in a person (as oppose to an ideal, belief or god) is a tricking business and will also prevent the development of leaders and defenders of free thought, free belief and the pursuit of happiness guaranteed to all Americans by the Constitution. The poem/song words are below and I think quite disturbing given the context (imagine the response if these were about ‘W' , Jesus Christ or a non liberal leader/President in our history; it would have been madness it’s response. To acknowledge the historic nature of President Obama being the first black President is one thing but singing the below lyrics to “Jesus Loves me” a song I would have thought unsuitable for public school and making President Obama comparable to Jesus is another thing all together my friends. The most disturbing thing is that on the Burlington township school site there is a message that states the videotaping of this event was unauthorized but apparently indoctrinating children in our public schools (supported by all our tax dollars) is authorized.

Lyrics/Poem

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama

He said all should lend a hand to make the country strong again

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama

He said we must be fair today, equal work means equal pay.

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama

He said take a stand, make sure everyone gets a chance

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama

He said red, yellow, black and white, all are equal in his sight

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Barack Hussein Obama

Yeah! Barack Hussein Obama

…Hello Mr. President, We honor you today

For all your great accomplishments, we all do say hooray

Hooray, Mr. President you are No. 1

The first black American to lead this nation

Leftist indoctrination?

For that, look no further than the Richmond Center for Leftist Indoctrination (formerly known as the University of Richmond).

Long before this latest push via the public schools, many of our colleges have had their traditional quest for TRUTH supplanted by a program to indoctrinate students with a far Left agenda.

In the case of UR, students who espouse independent political views are harassed, and in some cases banned from campus for their "disruptive" behavior.

If the mostly conservative alumni of UR knew what was going on over there, they would stop funding that operation.
