-Realtors cite Bolling's commitment to finding "solutions" and record of supporting for smart growth, affordable housing and low taxes-
Richmond - Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling today received the endorsement of the Virginia Association of Realtors®, through their Realtors® Political Action Committee, for his re-election campaign.

Representing more than 33,000 Realtors® and real estate professionals, VAR is the state's largest trade association, while RPAC is one of the largest political action committees in Virginia.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of a pro-business, pro-economic development group like the Virginia Association of Realtors®," said Lieutenant Governor Bolling. "Virginia's economy is struggling and Virginia families are hurting. I have proposed a detailed plan to get our economy moving again and create jobs, restore fiscal integrity to state government and solve the transportation, education and health care challenges facing Virginia. The Virginia Association of Realtors® know that I have a record of effective leadership and bi-partisan results and I look forward to working with them to for the next four years."

The Realtors® noted Bolling's consistent support of Realtor® and property-owner positions since being elected to the Virginia Senate in 1995 and that he has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to important causes and issues including smart growth, affordable housing, and reasonable and standardized taxes and fees.

"Local and state REALTOR associations have actively supported and campaigned alongside Lt. Governor Bolling since he was on the Hanover Board of Supervisors. That record of support and that mutual respect that we have for each other is the trademark of a relationship that builds real solutions for our REALTORS," said Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR) President John Powell of Colonial Heights.

"The RPAC Trustees take very seriously their responsibility to support candidates who will help Virginians invest in safe and vibrant communities," said RPAC of Virginia chair Bill Gearhart of Roanoke. "We believe that the candidates endorsed by RPAC of Virginia today hold great promise for Virginia's future."
