Your Belief in God will only be challenged more in the coming years so be prepared to stand up for Jesus when challenged

Militant Atheists
An organization of 11 atheist and "freethinker" groups is spending $5,000 to put 'Don't Believe in God? - You are not alone" on 11 billboards in Denver and Colorado Springs. Across the country, Washington, D.C., buses are carrying a similar message: 'Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness' sake." The American Humanist Association unveiled the $40,000 ad campaign last Tuesday. And last month, the British Humanist Association launched a similar campaign on London buses with the message: "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life." These folks are unwittingly preparing the way for The Atheist Bible, which comes out January 2009.

The Atheist Bible, if you're an Atheist why do you need a bible?...it's like a vegetarian eating a tofu burger..if you denounce something why so you want to replicate it in another form to have a faux version of the thing you denounce in the first place...makes no sense.

An "Athiest bible"?

That makes about as much sense
as "Christian politician."

We owe it all to Bill Maher. beware of humor in sheeps clothing frankly and now with his latest movie its appauling how many liberals embrace such beliefs or lack there of. Ever wonder why its the Hollywood crowd with an over abundance of this crowd and scientologists? Could it be they are so wealthy and manifest all their worth in such fodder that they have no need for things such as faith? In any case, I'll take my existance over that any day.

In my heart of hearts I truly feel that there really is no such thing as a true atheist, maybe an agnostic, but atheist no....How someone doesn’t see a greater power than themselves is both sad and pathetic. In times of trouble, disease and/or disaster (both man made and natural) the first thing we all do (and should do) is get on our knees and pray to the god above because no matter what we talk ourselves into it is inherent to the soul of every human. To live a life with no hope of being with god, is sad…no wonder most self-proclaimed atheist are bitter and mean people…especially to those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. I’ve done extensive study on atheism and most atheist are that as a reaction to the church (as in organized religion) doing some perceived wrong to them as oppose to a genuine belief that no God (and more importantly Jesus Christ) exists…….we must always keep in mind that Churches (and more importantly denominations) were created by man, who is fallible, but God is not fallible and should be worshiped accordingly.

"no wonder most self-proclaimed atheist are bitter and mean people"

Do you have any hard data to support that comment?

"no hope of being with god"

What if there is no individual "person" to be with? Then what?

"over abundance of this crowd and scientologists"

Once again, three or four nut jobs do not constitute an "over abundance."

"appauling how many liberals embrace such beliefs"

I would say that most "liberals" embrace the belief that no matter what you think you have that right and freedom without being cajoled into believing what the masses tell you.

and that's why you have to comment as anonymous.....you know what you write isn't what is in your heart but just conjecture. Accept Jesus in to your heart and live a better and happier life....this isn't about politics (liberal vs. Conservative) it's about your soul. God is real, so give your burden to God and watch what miracles he can work in your life. Have a great day
