GOODE DEFEATS PERRIELLO....Tucker Watkins beats George Soros, New York City, Blogger Lowell Feld & National Democrats to retain VA's 5th District

Posted by MAXIMUS

The national Democrats said they won the race. The Virginia liberal bloggers pegged Tom Perriello over Virgil Goode as the upset race to watch---it certainly was. The liberals lost and all the citizens of Virginia's 5th Congressional District won with Virgil Goode's re-election to the United States House of Representatives by 446 votes.

The radical left, funded by George Soros, Tim Kaine and Barack Hussein Obama, nurtured, and incubated Tom Perriello from a mere hatchling to full market weight. Last night's slaughter was meant to include Virgil Goode--he escaped. The American liberal Socialist party had volunteers call into Virginia's 5th District from Brooklyn and other points west and north of Gotham.

Virgil Goode remains standing in the arena. GOP Political Godfather Tucker Watkins remains standing in the arena. At present, both are bloodied and soiled pieces of humanity probably in desperate need of a sh**, shower, shave, and sleep.

Yet, there they are, still standing in the arena of competition, victorious over the withering carpet bombing from Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Barack H. Obama, and Tim Kaine. Congratulations on your re-election Congressman Goode. Congratulations to Tucker Watkins for beating back the invading herd from New York City whose sights were set on pillaging and plundering Southside Virginia. While admittedly successful elsewhere in Virginia, last night, the war of northern aggression was stopped in the 5th Congressional District.

Backed into a corner and fighting for his (and Congressman Goode's) life, 5th Congressional District Republican Party Chairman Tucker Watkins has beaten Lowell Feld (Perriello's blogger), Mudcat Saunders (Democratic rural translation specialist), Tim Kaine (Barack H. Obama's National Co-Chairman), George Soros (MoveOn.Org guru and liberal candidate financier), and Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi. Congratulations Tucker Watkins!!!

SBOE has it for Goode with all 307 reporting in. Could there be absentee or provisional they are looking at?

Word I am getting is this: All of the provisionals/absentees are trending Goode's way. No irregularities or glaring transpositions of written vote tallies are being reported.

I am calling this for Virgil.

I determined weeks about to give to Goode instead of my Congressman Eric Cantor (7th) because I knew he would need the donation and Cantor would not.

I read a neat little post today at Alter of Freedom about "Republicrats" of which I guess I am now a member. I supported McCain, Mark Warner, and Cantor and my wife supported Obama, Warner and Cantor. She had voted for Bush the previous two elections. O fcourse we both would have supported Goode over this outright attempt to buy a Congressional seat by someone who is not even been a Virginian for a year and yet "knows" the district so well. The result of his performance was a referendum on Bush and Obama and not his ability at all to lead the district. The fcat that he almost won is very sad indeed.

Well said.

SBOE still shows Goode trailing.

I always thought elections were called on actual vote tallies not rumors.

Not looking good for your boy there. Goode trails by over 600...

OKAY "Anonymous' and Bookstore PieEater:

Answer me this: If Perriello wins the recount and goes to Washington, will he and Nye room together since they are both unmarried men in their late 30's who are not currently dating women in their respective Districts?

Very nice. Unable to defend you assertion so you resort to name calling.

All this speculation about Perrillo and Nye's sexual orientation is puzzling. Sounds a lot like your overcompensating for something...

This remains my favorite post of the 2008 Virginia elections. Congratulations, Mr. Maximus.
