Tomorrow, Obama targets Republican areas of Virginia's 4th Congressional District

Tomorrow, Barack Hussein Obama takes his fairytale--dare we say quixotic--campaign for President of the United States to the core Republican areas of Virginia's 4th Congressional District. Where? The City of Chesapeake and the Chester area of Chesterfield County.

Who are these folks that Obama is targeting for support? The fair minded voters of the City of Chesapeake recently wrested control of the City Council from Democrat/Liberal control--returning it to Republican majority control. When placed in charge of Chesapeake City Council, Chesapeake Democrats reigned during a time when huge increases in the local real estate tax rates caused a citizen revolt against government spending. Chesapeake, home to Incumbent Republican Congressman J. Randy Forbes, has three times as many Republicans leglislators representing the City in the state legislature than Democrats. Republicans control all but one of the Constitutional Offices in Chesapeake as well. There is a HUGE concentration of Veterans in this area as well--with many residents being retirees of the Navy. Virginia Veterans overwhelmingly support McCain over Obama by 70% to 30%. Also, more active duty military troops from this area of Virgina have given given money to McCain than Obama. The support for McCain here is staggering.

As for Chesterfield, Republicans dominate the Constitutional Offices--holding the Office of Sheriff, Commissioner of the Revenue, Treasurer, and the office of Clerk of Circuit Court. Additionally, the local Republican Delegation holds five out of seven House of Delegates Seats and both State Senate seats in the state legislature. Chesterfield County produced the highest number of net votes for the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign out of all Virginia counties during the 2004 Presidential Campaign. Mark Warner lost badly in Chesterfield in his run for U.S. Senate against John Warner in 1996 and Mark Warner lost Chesterfield County during his run for Virginia Governor in 2001. In fact, the Chester area of Chesterfield County has been the strongest Republican area of the county (on a per capita vote basis) for the last eleven years.

During local Board of Supervisors race in 2007 for Chesterfield County, in the Chester area, Democrat Governor Tim Kaine campaigned hard for Democratic Candidate Ree Hart against Republican Dorothy Jaeckle. The Republican majority easily defeated Tim Kaine and Democrat Ree Hart--sending Republican Dorothy Jaeckle onto victory in what was billed as an anti-Republican year. Why exactly is Tim Kaine having Obama visit a part of the state where Democrats routinely and historically get their asses kicked?

This area of the state, the southern Richmond suburbs, prospers under Republican leadership and the results show it. The voters of this area have rejected the social welfare programs and proposals of Obama, Tim Kaine, and Mark Warner time and time again (and for good measure). The voters of his area have a low crime rate because folks work hard and pay taxes without blaming others for their problems.

This area is home to many active duty Military Officers, Civl Servants (and retireees) who work at nearby Fort Lee, VA. How will the voters of Chesterfield, and Chester in particular, react to an appearance by Barack Hussein Obama WHO IS THE SAME MAN WHO VOTED TO CUT OFF FUNDING COMBAT TROOPS IN IRAQ?

Welcome to the real Conservative country Mr. Barack Hussein Obama--an area where folks openly embrace God and Country without bitterly clinging to them due to a dearth of fun filled secular activites like they have in Islamic dominated Indonesia, the celebrity retreat of Hawaii, and the boss run, Daley Centric, Political Boss driven town of Chicago.

Congressional District of Virginia Mr. Obama--and thank you for visiting the most Republican areas of this Congressional District. We know to beat political losers when we see 'em--just ask Mark Warner and Tim Kaine.

The 4th Congressional District will return J. Randy Forbes to the House of Representatives--heck Obama is not even going to campaign with Andrea Miller--an African American lady who is the Democrat nominee for Congress in the 4th District. Obama, along with Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, have already thrown her candidacy under the bus by refusing to acknowledge her campaign to unseat Incumbent Republican Congressman J. Randy Forbes. During tomorrow's events, they aren't even going to allow her onstage or invite her to give comments on stage with them. How's that for Democratic Unity?

Obama is revving up the Republican base tomorrow. We've beaten Tim Kaine and Mark Warner before. Like these snake oil Democratic salesmen that came before you, we'll defeat you as well. Inshallah, Assalaam Alaikum.
