GOV. KAINE Designates May and June as TAX INCREASE PREPAREDNESS MONTHS in Virginia

Posted by MAXIMUS

Well, that didn't take long. Governor "NEVER TELL A LIE" Tim Kaine has designated the months of May and June 2008, as TAX INCREASE PREPAREDNESS MONTHS.

To wit: over the next two months, Timmy Kaine is conducting taxpayer financed townhall meetings across Virginia to demand that us backwater Virginians surrender more of our free flowing recessionary spare change to finance his pet transportation projects in Virginia's inner cities and across the urban crescent.

The Governor is going to travel to places like Hopewell, Danville, Radford, Staunton, and Marion to try and convince folks that they should subsidize the mistakes associated with poor land use planning decisions that has caused unprecidented suburban sprawl in places like Fairfax, Alexandria, Norfolk, Arlington, Falls Church, Reston, Newport News, and Hampton.

During Tim Kaine's TAX INCREASE PREPAREDNESS CAMPAIGN, he will demand that the rest of Virginia bail out sprawl infected areas that have been victimized by dreadful land use planning associated with Wealthy Developers who, over the last three decades, have pirated millions of acres of pristine land for residential development. In advocating for a statewide tax increase, Governor Kaine is asking us to bail out the congested areas of our state whose failed land use planning decisions of yesterday makes for today's transportation gridlock in places Prince William, Arlington, and Fairfax.

Items in the Governor's tax increase preparedness kit include: five ten dollar bills ($50.00) to be spent on folks in far away places (this represents our new tax burden under his plan); a DVD of Robin Hood to remind us that we are being robbed to support traffic choked areas in NOVA and Tidewater--areas that elected him Governor in 2005; a few tootsie roll lolly pops to remind us that we are all suckers for believing him when he said that he would not raise our taxes; and lastly he will leave us with a few babysitter vouchers to remind us that he diverted $30 million from transportation projects into a dramatic expansion of his pre-kindergarten programs to provide early morning daycare for the children of illegal immigrants.

The winds that are blowing aren't from a hurricane. Rather, they emit from the bellies of these mouth breathing Democrats who demand that the rest of the Virginia subsidize transportation improvements in ONLY their areas.

Please choose one of the locations below to tell Timmy Kaine your thoughts on his proposal to increase your taxes to subsidize transportation projects in areas are hundreds of miles from your home. When you do, ask the Governor why he selected May and June as TAX INCREASE PREPAREDNESS MONTHS in Virginia.
