U.S. commits to WTO outcome by end of the year

'The United States is fully committed to an outcome to the Doha round of global trade talks by the end of the year, a senior U.S. Treasury Department official said on Wednesday. 'We are at a critical juncture in the Doha round,' DAVID McCORMICK, Treasury Under Secretary for international finance, said in a speech prepared for a conference in the southern Indian city of Chennai. 'This spring, we need to see progress on services and agreement on modalities for agriculture and non-agriculture market access if an agreement is to be completed by year's end,
