The man that made me a Conservative has died

From Politico...Author and conservative commentator William F. Buckley Jr. has died at age 82, according to the Associated Press.

The book "God and Man at Yale: The Superstitions of "Academic Freedom," was the first book I ever read by a conservative at the age of 14 (many decades after it was first published) in a public library and molded many of my beliefs to this very day day. The last book I read "Miles gone by" was a collection of articles and journals that gave an insight into Bill Buckley that no biography or autobiography could have since his soul was in his conservative views and the words he used to express them.
