Senator Jim DeMint has just thrown down the gauntlet to his congressional peers, and he needs our help! In an effort to force a vote on a year-long moratorium on
congressional earmarks, Sen. DeMint will offer an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2009 Budget Resolution. In other words, this vote will separate the wheat from the chaff--those who are serious about earmark reform and those who aren't.
