Strike up the Band, I agree with PETA

PETA has requested that cannibal eating capital murder suspect Christopher Lee McCuin be fed a vegetarian diet while in jail. Although, I don’t agree with anything PETA believes in regards to eating meat of animals as murder, I think that an all vegetable diet for a cannibal is great punishment (maybe dangle a steak in front of him if he acts up) and should be adopted Countrywide. On a serious note..these PETA people do uthanize a lot of animals in their work so some of the statements below are funny in an ironic sort of way.

"It is up to you to prevent McCuin from contributing to any more suffering and death by placing him on a healthy, humane vegetarian diet," the letter by PETA Vice President Bruce Friedrich reads.
"Like humans, animals are made of flesh, blood, and bone. They have the same five senses that we do, and they have the same capacity to experience suffering and fear. And all animals share the desire to live their lives free of pain and to avoid a violent death," he said.

"Only in a culture where people routinely kill and eat living, feeling beings would anyone even think to kill and eat a human loved one," he said. Just a little tidbit of info here:PETA has killed over 14,400 dogs and cats at its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters. During 2005, PETA put to death over 90 percent of the animals it collected from members of the public.
