Sometimes Limbaugh just Cracks me up

On the Rush Limbaugh show today Rush made a statement (done as a news Conference/Rally) that answered his critics that if McCain wins the nomination he and his fellow Conservative radio host are through; even though talk radio is seeing record ratings....too funny. Below is exerpts from his statement:

RUSH: No, no, no, no. No. Thank you. Thank you. Ladies and gentlemen, to all of those gathered here -- my loyal staff, my enthusiastic supporters, those of you who spread the word to every neighborhood, every precinct -- thank you. Thank you so much for all of your tireless hard work. We all work tirelessly, even I. I personally travel from my home to my studio, and back -- and I travel from my Florida studio to my New York studio. But, alas, we did not win. Now, I know that there are reports of campaign irregularities, but I want to point out to all of you: This is no time to quit. This is no time to feel down. This is no time to feel defeated. (wild applause and cheers) Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The same media... (boos) The same media that could not call New Hampshire right still... (boos) Ladies and gentlemen, please. The same media that couldn't call New Hampshire right still shamelessly in the prediction game, is predicting my demise and your demise. (boos) But I say, "Bah!" The same media that's losing circulation and readers and viewers and respect (applause) is predicting my demise.
AUDIENCE: Rush! Rush! Rush! Rush!
RUSH: Thank you. Thank you.
AUDIENCE: Rush! Rush! Rush!
RUSH: Thank you. Thank you. We did not win. But we did not and we have not lost. I know of all these reports of campaign irregularities. It has been revealed and documented, ladies and gentlemen. My name was left off the ballots in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties, Broward County. (boos) My name was not to be found on the ballots in Orlando, Jacksonville, in Tampa, St. Pete. (boos) No, no, no, no. Elections are what they are, and one thing we know is there will always be another. This election might have been stolen from us, ladies and gentlemen, but let me assure you we will not -- I repeat -- we will not. We will not pull an Algore and sue anybody. (applause) We will not look at hanging chads, nor lawyers, no lawsuits. Thank you.

Is this the same rush limbaugh that could not see that Duncan Hunter was not a 'Thoroughbred' Conservative candidate for President?

I am boycotting listening to rush until at least after the November election....

I don't give a rip about limbaugh, and I am supporting Huckabee, because that is who Hunter endorsed.

He can fool some of the Conservatives some of the time, but he can not fool all the Conservatives all of the time...

More to the point of the post, it was funny and Rush's population trancends who is elected President. Spankey, if you are only talk to, listen to or associate with people that supported Duncan Hunter then you're going to live a very lonely life. The reality of a Prewsidential election is that it takes more than a strict ideology to winsince we all are hard-pressed to find a canidate that we agree with 100% of the time and is electable...as long as it isn't McCain, Clinton or Obama I'll be happy at this point.
