Tubbs wins Candidate Forum

The Chesterfield Observer http://www.chesterfieldobserver.com/ has coverage of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forum at Cosby High School in its current edition. In observing the Forum at Cosby High School this past week, I felt that each candidate had their moments but Mark Tubbs (see http://thecontemporaryconservative.blogspot.com/2007/10/next-up-mark-tubbs.html article) won the debate. Mark’s forum performance really placed him as the most qualified candidate, in the Matoaca race, to take over the vacated seat with the Board of Supervisors and make an immediate impact on the policy of Chesterfield county. Some of the other candidates seemed very ill prepared to answer any questions outside there niche expertise and failed to give the audience comprehensive answers and viable solutions to the issues facing our county. Mr. Tubbs was consistent and on point the whole night.
